Lovely hike- some steep sections with stairs to be aware of, but overall an excellent trail! We went to the NT tearoom on Box Hill and were served relatively quickly. But a youth from the village took our order with reasonable dispatch and the food was not ridiculously slow in coming. For the whole excursion including trains, sights and meals, allow at least 9hours. Ours possibly numbered 14 or possibly more; I counted but did not write it down. We went right round in a circle and came back to our starting point, so I suppose it achieved its purpose. Approximate time 2 to 2.5 hours. Directions though detailed were hard to follow at times.
